Operations & Maintenance of Solar Arrays

Society often sees the glamor and idealism of building a new edifice or novel structures, like solar arrays, without much thought into their upkeep. We rarely see or hear from those whose jobs are to maintain them for long-term societal benefit. These heroes of the solar industry who troubleshoot electronic errors and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions. Join us to hear from the solar industry's quiet heroes!

maintenance, and operational data evaluation. In his role, Nate draws on his
extensive technical knowledge to advocate for quality solar installations that
maximize dual-use success.

Terry Nelson is a Journeyman Electrician who started his electrical career at Namaste Solar almost 7 years ago. Terry grew up on a farm in Wyoming which makes what Jack's Solar Garden showcases much more exciting to him!

Jordan House

Serving as Vanguard’s Chief of Engineering, Jordan House commands nearly 30 years of solar electric and solar thermal experience. Jordan was one of the first four people in the United States to possess both a NABCEP certification in Solar PV and Solar Thermal Installation. Jordan has overseen the engineering and construction of commercial installations for Native American reservations, commercial, residential, and federal contracts. The depth of experience and knowledge of legacy equipment that Jordan possesses is unmatched throughout the solar community as he has personally seen the evolution of the solar industry. Jordan’s dedication to educating Vanguard’s newest employees are a testament to the quality installations Vanguard provides to every client.
