The Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center offers tours and field trips of the nation’s largest agrivoltaic research site, Jack’s Solar Garden in spring, summer, and fall. Purchase your ticket below.

Corporate and Private Tours
Want to bring your company or organization out to see Jack's Solar Garden? Private corporate, nonprofit, government, and community tours are available throughout the growing season. Contact us for more information.

Corporate Tours: $400 flat rate for groups up to 20
Community/Civic/Non-profit Tours: $200 flat rate for groups up to 20
College Class/Groups: $150 flat rate for groups up to 20
Government/Policymakers Tour: Free for groups up to 20

Can we visit without a reservation?No. You must have a scheduled tour to view the agrivoltaic site. We do not allow free roaming admission.

Where are you located?We are located at Jack's Solar Garden at 8102 N 95th St. Longmont, CO 80504.

Where do I park for the tour?There is adequate parking at the farm. Please enter through the driveway to the farmhouse (8102 N95th St. Longmont, CO 80504), continue to the back of the farmhouse and find a spot to park your vehicle. Buses can drop off passengers and turn around in the driveway behind the farmhouse.

How long are the tours?Tours are 75 minutes in duration and cover roughly a half-mile of walking distance.

What should I bring on the tour?Please bring a hat, water and any snacks you need as it can get hot on summer days. The tour will take place outside. Please wear close-toed shoes that can be on uneven surfaces.

What if there is a storm?If there is lightning or other severe weather in the area the tour will be canceled and rescheduled. We will try to inform the group the morning of a tour if it looks as if severe weather is likely.

Do you have a restroom?We have one, non-ADA accessible, porta potty.

Is your site accessible?The tour site does not have paved paths. All tours take place on rough terrain and therefore is not ADA accessible. Our outreach team does do off-site presentations, if you are interested in these opportunities please contact us at info@coagrivoltaic.org.

Do you have an indoor exhibit area?We do not have an indoor exhibit area. All programs are based outside. Interpretive props are used throughout the tour.

Can I bring my pet?We do not allow pets on the site. Leashed service animals are allowed during a tour. Any participant with a service animal deemed unruly will be asked to leave.

Do you conduct agrivoltaic consulting?The Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center does not consult farmers and developers how to conduct agrivoltaic practices, however, we connect those interested to the right resource. If you would like to learn more send an email to info@coagrivoltaic.org.
